Saturday 3rd to Monday 5th May 2025

This is the inaugural UK Southwestern RS Aero Championships to be held at Restronguet Sailing Club. You are most welcome to come and enjoy our great spot overlooking the Carrick Roads. The racing area is within sight of the clubhouse and there is a campsite run by Coastland backing onto the club.

A six-race series is scheduled over the 3-day event with additional option of racing along with the club on Sunday afternoon for free. The social programme includes a pre-booked BBQ on Saturday, a pay-as-you-go supper at a local restaurant close to the club on Sunday, and a Cornish Tea to whet the appetite for the prize giving on Monday.

Entry

• Entry is available online online here
• £70 per boat or £35 for Under-18 and Students in full time education
• Late entry from 26th April 2025 £80 or £45 for Under-18 and Students in full time education
• Please state your intended rig type on the entry form; if you have a choice of rig type, this may be decided at registration.  

Food and drink

• Club Galley and bar will be open during the event
• Cafe and restaurant facilities are also available in Mylor Churchtown by the harbour 

Dinghy Parking

• Follow signs to Windsport/Coastland behind the club; do not offload on the beach in front of the club please
• A member of the RSC Aero fleet will be on hand on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning to assist you in finding your allocated berth in the Windsport/Coastland site
• Dinghy parking cost is included in the entry fee for the period Saturday to Monday inclusive; additional days can be arranged direct with Windsport/Coastland at cost of £5 per day

Car and Boat Trailer Parking

• Car parking can be arranged direct with Windsport/Coastland at cost of £5 per day
• Alternatively please use the pay and display car park at Mylor Harbour a short walk from the club
• Boat trailer parking can be arranged direct with Windsport/Coastland at cost of £3 per day; trailers are not to be stored in the dinghy park please
