A SW Ugly Tour Event - sponsored by West Country Boat Repairs
Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th July 2025
Restronguet Sailing Club invite sailors to the RS 200 Cornish National Championships on the 5th and 6th July 2025.
This is the Cornish stop on the 2025 RS200 SW Ugly Tour. Restronguet Sailing Club has a great spot overlooking the Carrick Roads, with the racing area only a few minutes sail away and handy camping just behind the club.
We have a great Youth RS200 section at Restronguet and would like to encourage young sailors to come and take part in the Cornish Nationals.
There are 4 races planned for Saturday afternoon in the Carrick Roads near to Restronguet Sailing Club. After racing come back to the club for a cream tea with Rodda's clotted cream (eaten Cornish style, Jam First!), then a cold beverage and food at the club. There will be a couple more races on the Sunday morning and early afternoon. Then time for a pasty, piece of cake and a cup of tea from the club cafe before heading home.
Come and join the 200 fleet in Cornwall for two days of racing for bragging rights and the title of "Cornish Open Champions". Prizes for under 18s.

Entry
- Entry to the event will be found here when it is available. All payment and entry online.
Food and drink
- There will be a cream tea when we get back in on Saturday after racing
- The bar will be open on Saturday evening and there will be an evening meal, with vegetarian and vegan options.
- When you get back in on Sunday our cafe will be open.
Car and Boat Parking
- If you are going to bring your boat down on Friday please contact Kyle Brown first.
- There is car parking at Coastland/Windsport behind Restronguet Sailing Club on Saturday, which costs £5 per day. On the Sunday you will need to park in the Mylor Marina carpark, which is a two or three minute walk from the club and cost £7 for the day. Cars are not allowed to be left on the beach at the club.
- Boat storage is at Restronguet Sailing Club. Please park your boat and trailer where directed. Note that it may not be possible to drive a car on the beach at high water, but if you are parking at Coastland/Windsports then you will be allowed to bring your boat on its trailer into the club.

- Due to financial issues the Red Arrows will not be performing during Race 3 on the Saturday.
