How can I get involved at the Club?
by Super User
The Club is run largely by volunteer help, both socially and on the sailing side, and if you want to be involved, there are plenty of opportunities. It is expected that all dinghy sailors will help with rescue duties. You will be allocated to a Duty Group. If you would like to help on the social side we are always looking for volunteers to help on the Social Committee.

I have a cruiser – can I have a mooring?
by Super User
Moorings are allocated to existing mooring holders in February, and there is usually a waiting list. Once you are a member you can be added to the list. The Club leases the mooring area in front of the club from Cornwall Council. The area is suitable for boats under 30 feet length and under 4.5 feet draught. Members have to provide their own mooring block and chain and these are laid at the start of the season. Most of the moorings are available on a 6-month basis from April to the end of September. Tenders are kept in a special area in the dingy park close to the slipway.

Yes, but there will not be any rescue cover so you do so at your own risk.
