27/28 April - Shakedown cruise (Either the Helford or Ruan pontoon on Saturday 27th April overnight). Fiona Pascoe & Stephen Pendray are co-ordinators on Chalonnaise. Leaving at noon from Mylor.

18/19 May – John Baldock (Tean) will lead the traditional Fowey weekend cruise which this year will avoid the very busy holiday periods at the beginning and at the end of May, by being planned for the middle of the month 18th/19th May. We will depart from Mylor at 10:30 on the Saturday and cruise in company, mooring together on a pontoon in Fowey. There will be drinks and nibbles on the pontoon followed by a meal ashore on Saturday evening. We will return on Sunday, leaving mid morning.

TBA - Between the end of May and early July, when there is a forecast of a long spell of settled weather, John Baldock will lead a cruise to the Isles of Scilly lasting for a period of 1 to 2 weeks. We have had some very good times over there in previous years and John would like to share his experience of the many excellent Scillies anchorages with other members.

27th July – Fiona Pascoe (Chalonnaise) is arranging a lunch cruise to Helford River Sailing Club on Saturday 27th July when a favourable tide will enable us to access their club pontoon over the lunchtime period. The moorings master will (if he catches you) request a payment ‘day rate’ is usually about GBP6.00. This is intended as a day sail for those with smaller boats or owners who don’t like overnight stays or have commitments elsewhere, but if the weather is good I expect some will stay overnight either on the moorings or anchored off.

13-16th August - Ken Whitney (Second Shot) has kindly invited us to join his MYC cruise to Plymouth for the National Fireworks competition in August. Please contact Ken direct as he needs to book berths at the Marina.

14 Sept - As the season draws to a close we will hold the End of the Summer Wine BBQ anchoring overnight at Turnaware bar on Saturday 14th September. There is a pontoon close by (chargeable – about GBP12.00 per night) for those who don’t like to anchor, but you will need a dinghy.
